Nestled into a natural harbour in Savusavu between 3 islands, Nawi Levu, Korovesa and Nawi Lailai, the marina is the only category 5 cyclone rated marina in the South Pacific. This means you and your yacht can stay in Fiji all year round!

Nawi’s Valaga boatyard facility comprises a 75 tonne travel lift (Marine Travel Lift 75BFM11) catering for vessels with up to a 8.6 metre bearm. The boat yard caters for 150 hard standing yachts with strap downs. There is a wash bay, an engineering workshop, paint workshop, accomodation units plus a commerical kicthen and bathroom. Dive bottles and gas fills are also available.

Enjoy adventure in Fiji

Immersion Fiji is located conveniently on Nawi Island offering a range of adventure tours. Enjoy waterfall treks, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, kayaking adventures, paddleboarding and scuba diving. Immersion is also able to supply captains to show you the best of the North of Fiji from your own yacht. Nawi’s private beach club (Coming Soon) provides a blissful haven for relaxation and fun in the marina complex. We offer sunloungers, hammocks and private cabanas around our 28 metre freshwater pool. The spa consists of 2 massage bures offering a list of treatments all using traditional Fijian ingredients. The spa is located at the beach club(Coming Soon).

Nawi Island Marina operates along a strong policy of environmental stewardship. Thus far, in conjunction, with local villages, we have replanted 84,600 mangrove seedlings. Nawi Island has a resident marine biologist.

We work in harmony with our lush tropical environment through programmes of environmental stewardship. Our marina plants are natives and we protect our rainforest.

We are a ‘fish friendly’ marina and have accumulated a large range of juvenile marine biodiversity seeking shelter and as such operate strict blackwater policies.

Pre-Arrival & Clearance Requirements

1. Health Clearance

On arrival into Savusavu you must fly your ‘Q’ yellow ‘practique’ flag until cleared by Fiji health officials. You can request assistance from the Nawi Island Harbour Master to contact the Health Authorities and Customs and Biosecurity for clearance on arrival. Fiji is free from Malaria and yachts arriving from the following countries should anchor outside the port of entry at the Quarantine mooring for clearance. Anti-Malarial spraying has to be conducted prior to the vessel proceeding to the dock. Asia Brisbane, Australia Gold Coast, Australia Papua New Guinea Solomon Islands Vanuatu

2. Biosecurity

All yachts arriving in Fiji must declare their full list of biosecurity goods. See clearance by Biosecurity officers costs below . They must be paid at the office in Savusavu town. FJD 85 normal hours FJD172.87 after hours

3. Customs

All yachts arriving from overseas must complete an Advanced Notice of Arrival Form C2-C for each crew member on board. This MUST be submitted no less than 48 hours prior to the planned ETA in Fiji. A scanned photograph of the vessel and a copy of the captain’s passport bio page is required. Yachts not submitting this ADVANCE NOTICE OF ARRIVAL may be refused clearance and can be fined a minimum of FJD4,000. 4. Immigration

All crew members must have valid passports with 6 months remaining. Visas on arrival will be granted for 4 months with an option to extend for 2 months. Check eligibility for pre-arrival visas at www.immigration.gov.fj

5. Cruising Permits for Fiji Waters

You are required to obtain a cruising permit for Fiji waters. Our marina receptionist will assist you with this. There is no charge.
